I'm pregnant!!!! Lastnight I took a home pregnancy test and it came out positive. Then I took a second one to be sure. This morning I went to the doctor and had a blood test done and they just called me back to confirm that I was pregnant. I don't know any doctor's out here in Rapid City so my PA on base is sending me a referral for one. I was kind of upset. I thought my regular PA would atleast want me to come in and ask questions. Instead I get a phone call from some lady I never met that tells me I'll send you a referral and pickup you prenatal vitamins in the pharmacy. I then told her I'm already taking some and she snaps back "Why?" I then proceed to tell her that we've been trying to get pregnant so I've been taking them for a while. Then the lady tells me that I need to take the one's prescribed to me and get rid of the ones I have. How cold! Anyway, nothing can bring me down, I'm on cloud nine. Well I should be studying for my Geology midterm right now so I'd better get focused. Wish me luck!

Yeah, that crazy lady doesn't know what she's talking about!! I'm sure your doctor will be happy that you've been taking them all along.

Don't let that dr./nurses that you talk to on the phone bother you. In my experience, everytime I talked to one of them on the phone they came across as extremely harsh and cold! I hated talking to any of them on the phone!! But at the Dr. office they were all really really nice, so I'm sure it will be a much better experience there.

Keep me updated, I want to know everything!!! I'm so freakin' excited!!!! I can't wait! This is going to be the longest 9 months of my life!!! LOL

Congratulations!

I am here from Kari's blog. I read her post about you and just had to come and visit. You are a beautiful woman! Kari's right, this is going to be one cute baby!

What a mean nurse! I have a 14 month old little girl and when I got pregnant with her my GYN (who I was going to at the time wasn't an OB so I had to switch) and OBGYN told me that the over the counter prenatal vitimans were just the same as prescription...but that the prescription ones would probably cost less. Since I had already bought some they didn't even bother giving me a prescription! You should tell that lady to take a nice pill. Geesh.

Wishing you the best of luck throughout your pregnancy! Keep us updated, I will def be back. Adding you to my favorites list =)
