Nothing new

So nothing new has really happened, which is why I haven't really had anything to post. I did finally receive the refferal for the doctor but when I called the doctor's office they said the doctor doesn't like to see me until I'm atleast 11 weeks. Can you believe that!? So then I told the nurse that I'm not quite sure when my last period was, and she told me to estimate, so therefore, I don't see the doctor until May 2nd. Which to me sucks! This is my first baby. I don't know anything about pregnancy, I mean I'm reading books about it but there are so many questions I wanted to ask him, or maybe some good advice to give me. There's the military for ya. Cheapskates! Anyway, I have been extremely tired, but other than that I've been fine. I haven't gotten sick......yet! And I haven't been eating as much as previously. I think I've been eating less because I get half way through something and then all the sudden I don't think it's a good idea to eat the rest of it. I tell you one thing, even though I haven't been eating alot, my stomach still seems to be losing it's cuteness, and turning into bloatedness. I can't wait till I look like I have a baby in their, instead of just looking like I need to hit the gym :)

May 2nd is SO far away!!! But at least it will be a nice birthday present. Advice that I got was to get lots of rest...when you're tired-sleep, when you're hungry-eat.

Keep your feet up when sitting watching tv or on the computer or whatever. Drink lots of water and take your vitamins. OJ is really good too. Cut down on any caffine intakes. You don't have to completely cut it out, just limit it.

There are websites that have pregnancy workout guides, if you still want to keep up with the gym deal...I know I have one of those sites...I'll have to send it to you.

Overall just stay happy, stay positive and it will be here before you know it!

I can't wait either!!!

Hi... I'm a friend of Kari's... just swinging in to say my congrats to you and your husband!!!

the constant eating can actually be a good thing in preventing nausea. when I was PG with my daughter, my docs told me to eat several smaller meals throughout the day to keep my blood-sugar levels consistent. I can ahppily say I didn't get sick ONCE for the first half of my pregnancy! (I won't tell you about the second half... we'll just keep things happy!)

anyways.. a most sincere congratulations to you, and welcome to the blog world!

Hi. I'm visiting from Kari's blog and I just want to say congratulations to your new addition. I just had my first baby a few months ago and I am a first time mom. I didn't know anything myself, but it's always nice to have people who have babies and/or experts with babies around to help you whenever you have questions. Hope you have a good pregnancy.
